Every good series has a stepping stone

Upon playing Budokai 2 I was impressed by the improvements from the original Budokai game. I enjoyed being able to play the board game type senarios where you would chase your enemies around, battle it out and move to another scenario. This impressed me and made the game more original than the first Budokai game. Playing it on PS2 also made the gaming experience enjoyable. Even though the graphics weren't the best it still had fluid movements and one could look past the pixelation because of this fluidity. The sound was about the same as the first so no real points to give or take away on that. My only issue is the ease of beating the game on even some of the most difficult levels. Once you get used to the layout of the game it seems like there isn't much to look forward to for the remainder. Overall a good game. I would play it again and recommend it to any DBZ fan looking for some fun. Like the title says this is just a stepping stone to some of the better DBZ games but a step in the right direction nonetheless.
