give me a dbz rpg or action game screw fighting for the ps3 as well no ds or wii or snes or game gear or any other system

Donie95 5 pts

dat guy fights like a p**sy and Hello1283920 i disagree with u it completely depends on the person playing if ure good at the game and enthusiastic u can get that feeling and maybe u might hav to pause from time to time to charge up but isnt dat still an important aspect of the game and what does it mean to say ther are constant pauses throughout the game doesnt every fighting game have pauses like when they are hit to the ground and the opponent has to wait a second or two for them to recover and get up what do u call that then. And unlike the orginal budokai games where it wasnt quite as fast-paced as the tenkaichi series in this game u can punch and kick the opponent a number of times throwing them into the air dash after them and give them a few more hits blast them away and so on

I have been waiting ages for dbz to make something new. SSJ3 Broly isn't much, but it's a start, I suppose. I just hope that's not the best aspect of the game.

terrible Noice in the background, jese.

I just don't see the appeal anymore.

Nice graphics, good gameplay(although the person playing it didn't seem to into it), I can't wait to get it.

Over all I still think Budokai 3 was the best DBZ game to date. I'm also glad the developers stuck to the Z sagas and not dipping fully into GT which in my opionion isn't really part of the Dragonball universe since it wasn't written by Akira Toriyama and had so many plot and character developement discrepancies.

The graphics look amazing. But the overall gameplay is the SAME! It isn't being improved at all. This basically looks like Tenkiachi but with amazing graphics. And the Tenkiachi series wasn't even that great. Though the 3D roaming ability of fighting is a new way to approach a fighting game, it still doesn't seem to grasp the epic fight sequences seen in the hit anime series Dragonballz. In many of the DBZ games, this one being no different, there is constant pausing in battle as a character is pressed to ground or flies into a wall. These constant pausing in the action makes the game somewhat unenjoyable and doesn't allow the player to fulling grasp the game. From this video, one can see that the combat, though with good animations, lacks that Dragonballz feel to it. DBZ fighting is supposed to be constant blows, fighters neck and neck, punch for punch. Constant epic fighting with relatively no stops in between. There may be some short instances of break in between, but this is soon followed by a barrage of powerful attacks by all the fighters. You see, what all the Dragonballz games are missing is that fluid epic fight feel, that kind of feeling that you get when you truly feel like the action isn't going to end. And then when it finally does, you are hungry for more.

wow...they destroyed it yet again, they aren't even trying to make it better what so ever.

Hmm, nice anime style graphics, a bunch of what if scenarios, about 70 characters, and SSJ3 Vegeta and SSj3 Broly... I Need This Game. Cant wait to pick it up, I've gotten every single DBZ game released and I'm not going to stop now...this one has even more incentive to buy because of those two transformations, previous games had basically the exact same thing with upscaled graphics. So why not buy? Least if you're a real fan of either the anime or games.

Personally I'm excited about Raging Blast for the simple fact that I love Dragon Ball in general, but I feel it's time to past the torch down to another developer. I've felt that way for a while ever since Budokai 3, because it seems like Namco Bandai really doesn't have what it takes to do the Dragon Ball series justice. They've had some nice attemps with budokai 1 and 2, but never really improved much after that. I'm amazed at how they're still stuck in the Z saga. It's like they completely neglet the GT saga which was great and has a wide assortment of characters they can add the mix. I know they through some in with budokai 3, but it was still mostly all about the Z saga. Another thing is the play engine. They're still using the same old tired fight mechanics from Budokai 1 which never was all that ground breaking to begin with. I think Konami would be a good developer for a Dragon Ball game if the can use the engine they had in Zone of Enders. I would like to see an actual Dragon Ball game with a real original story mode, with a fighting game via online. But apparently that's asking for too much such as a decent Dragon ball movie, and evolution doesnt count in any way. Does publishers and developers have any idea how much money they can make off a true dragon ball game? dragon ball still has millions of fans world wide so all these weak attempts make zero sense to me.

Dragonsingh3000 5 pts

nothing new, nothing changed, same as all the others DBZ games, shame...

Evilnator 14 pts

Well the camera is trying to be cinematic, while these guys are not doing what it takes to make it exciting? Ouch, Jap voices.... hopefully they translate before release, as they did with the other games.

MAN_GAMES 5 pts

you surly dont know how to play at all

twv25 5 pts

i hope this one is like the tenkaichi games and not the budokai ones.and by 70 characters i hope they mean 70 different characters not including transformations

TrickySky 5 pts

I don't see anything NEW.... When will they be smart and make the ground indent and blasts explode into the earth... make giant holes that stay there throughout the fight etc.... they should have enough money by now to make something epic... jeez... maybe a lil blood x.x f dbz could be much cooler.................

MrSmarties 5 pts

wow, what an annoying camera, plus the guy playing makes the game look slow and weird.

Broli922 5 pts

i can already tell that the camera is going to be a problem. damn if they would only tweak burst limit and put in a legitimate combat system. just steal street fighters or something if u can't think of any lol.

EarlAlexander 5 pts

Nice! the Last BDZ on ps3 was kinda weak, this looks to have the freedom I need to enjoy a DBZ game! Like Tenkaichi! Hope its solid!

SamuriChamploo 6 pts

I agree SilentStorm54. We need the Budokai games back!! *Sigh* I guess I'll give this one a rental but I doubt that it'll be much different from the last series of games... :(

SilentStorm54 7 pts

I guess im the only one who notices that the same crappy camera angle has returned. When you fly above ur oppenents u cant even see them. And there is probably the same lame button config. a kick button, a punch button, a block button, and a guard button, which makes for the same lame combos as the other similiar dbz games. They sprused up the environment, and smooth out the character models.... ill admitt the environmental damage is nice, but its more of the same lame basic stuff. Bring back the BUDOKAI STYLE DBZ GAMES! Or actually look like ur trying to improve the most important part of a dbz game which is the fighting!

Boo same game every single time. what is so different huh? nothing if you buy this you are lame for letting them get away with it. djr1118 is way right on this one.

Shinkada, that is like the best amateur review i have ever seen lol

Shinkada 5 pts

The character models are very similar to T3, yes, but they definitely look better for those of us with eyes for small details. Anything that moves (hair, clothes) looks MUCH, MUCH better. The special effects are fairly similar, but again, small details. The lighting is spectacular. The landscape is most definitely not the same, even for those who can't appreciate small details. But most importantly of all, the new mechanic of slamming people into walls/buildings looks fun as hell, and I really can't wait to see the new super attacks. The bigger areas make playing defensively much more worthwhile. Anything that improves upon the game hitting that unique DBZ feel is appreciated, and this looks set to top Tenkaichi 3 for exactly that.

Tempest6269 5 pts

this game looks so sick they really out did themselves this time i just wish vegeta could go ss3 but i cant wait rto get online and try it out

prytherce 5 pts

im sorry but this is not tenkaichi 3, the graphics on this are worth it alone, tenkaichi 3's graphics just came nowhere close...(yes i know this basically bt3 but its really not)

ne0man 5 pts

@ djr1118 actually id say they remade budokai1 and now tenkachi1, cause these have as much characters as those. its like they have the foundations for the ultimate dbz game in either budokai 3 and tenkachi 3 but are restarting the franchise with the bare minimums to exploit us cause there are no more dbz games this generation :(

Volomist 7 pts

The budokai tenkaichi combat system is the best i've ever seen in a Dragonball game but, this guy who are playing can't display anything of it... he really sucks on it

DFen 5 pts

wow it really looks like Im watching the actual dragonball z cartoon lol, looks like a good game but not into fighting games like that they get boring after a while once u unlock all characters lol

davidyang1123 6 pts

this gameplay is so lame there is no sort of excitement that they are displaying no special attacks just fighting not really attention grabbing players suck at playing but over all i just never really got use to the fighting system i always liked budokai 2 better i think that was the best version

daddy215 5 pts

looks okay...like all the other ones, i really would love for them to do the gameplay more fast like the new street fighter, thats awesome. Also they can put a longer combo, so it can be more fun...but thats just my opinion =)

qayedc 5 pts

wouldnt it be cool if you could play this with natal?

punkdsk8erdude 14 pts

and i rly hope there are in game transformations...i hope that out of these 70 characters 5 of them are goku in different forms lol. goku, goku kaoken, goku ssj, goku ssj2, goku ssj3 lol. that would totally suck.

punkdsk8erdude 14 pts

action looks slow, unless those playin it are just taking their time. BL seemed to be faster, but all the animations and everything else about this game looks a lot better.

djr1118 5 pts

these dam devs r being gay about it they remade budokai 3 n called it burst limit now they r doin the same thing with tenkachi 3 now its called raging blast but its the same game, tho they said they added a few things to it i say its ok if u like tenkaichi better then budokai or vise versa but dont waste ur money with this wait til they make burst limit 2 or raging blast 2 at least then ul get ur moneys worth- itll have some more of the chars that were taken out how is it a sequel wit a lot less chars rofl they just want ur money so they purposely put it out slowly thats y DBZ: BL only went to the cell saga the next one will go to kid buu prolly then theyll prolly repeat this visious cycle cuz sum ppl r too dumb to c this or just dont care but w.e lol il jus keep waitin for a real dbz game to come out with the right gameplay, chars, lvls etc....

d_brown44 5 pts

All I am asking is for someone to look at the moves of their character and pull ATLEAST one off. These vids are not helping me want to buy this at all.

misterg419 5 pts

This is dragon ball z budokai tenkaichi with better grapics same gameplay as all the previous budokai tenkaichi games. Im very disappointed in this game this garbage is not worth paying 60 bucks and i already have budokai tenkaichi 3 in my collection when are these lame developers going to make a true dragon ball z game this ain't nothing new and im sure alot of you will agree with me namco needs to change the fighting system maybe make it simular to tekkens fighting systen with all the dbz signitures moves and bring back the story mode like in the original dbz budokai for the ps2 yall know what im talking about this game is going to get boring play it and you will see what i mean
