The latest Mass Effect 2 downloadable content, Trials of the Grey Warden, will allow you to import your Dragon Age Origins character and take on a new loyalty quest.
i'll just use my imagination to collide two worlds then. i bought DA:O in september 2010 and my dragon armour code hadn't expired even though the back cover said it had in april.
lol wow that was pretty funny stuff! I'm pretty glad to hear that mass effect2 is coming to ps3 through another great title I can't wait to get my hands on ; )
It is with the PC, though I do not know what versions. I only know that I bought the PC version of DAO very soon after its release and it came with a code on a card for the Blood Dragon armor in DAO *and* ME2. Same code for both games. Forgot about it until I bought ME2 and there it was available to download. I don't know if other printings/versions of DAO have the code.
I'm guessing people who fell for this do not realize that the blood dragon armor is DLC for ME2 if you bought DA:O. That would explain why some people think there was a lot of video wizardry and other people thought it was kind of just thrown together.
I wish this wasnt a prank, good games, good concept, great idea. Why not make it Bioware? Scared of hard work lol :-p.
I'm a big fan of both Dragon Age and ME2, and this would have been something if it was to be true...
See, the biggest reason you can tell that it's not official, is because BioWare would never reveal so much info at once :P
Ironically this could work, because who's to say in ME2 you couldn't find a pre-industrial/modern world? I've seen it done before in other games, and even movies, so if Bioware did really do something like this in their games, I'd buy it lol.
even though it's fake, i want this lol, and the music for this piece was awesome :) also, ferelden isn't a planet :P
The idea was very good. I'm so glad I saw this knowing it was a spoof. It would have been such a let down finding out it was a hoax. Though this may have been a spoof, it would have been a perfect way to test the waters in a difficult marked.
That would be so awesome... it would be better if you could take your ME2 character into DA: Origins. Then you could just take on all the warriors and dragons with your awesome guns. That would be satisfying.
wow that was one well put together spoof. I totally wish it was true. Cause it would be amazing on so many levels.
