This game can be awesome if it combines epic battle and nice metal-like music (without voice though). From my experience sounds and music can really make up for gameplay!

@uberjannie ye i remember playing Icewind Dale 2 and i had to quit cause i didnt have a wizard / sorcerer to kill the ifrits in that room in dragon mountain. unlike wow, i think this is gonna be great game, and since a plot between characters can evolve it makes it even more epic. so to all of u kiddoes out there reading this. RPG stands for Role Playing Game, and when it comes to video games character plot (which is also part from the role playing) is an essential thing if u ask me @TJamesA cant agree more with you man, Amon Amarth FTW it really gets my adrenaline sky high everytime i listen to them. here is my opinion on this game. blood, gore violence and more of it is my type of thing when it comes to RPGs. having in mind that the melee will be pretty much hack & slash, i wont mind if my char chops the enemies with some massive 2handed axe while some heavy metal track rocks the socks out of me and makes my adrenaline go sky high. it just gives additional exitement to the game. and as some of the members here said... if you dont like the music and the blood, gore violence stuff, go buy urself a nintendo and play super mario on it, and leave this game for the real gamers. to be honest i grew up playing RPGs for pc, starting with diablo, diablo2, icewind dale 1,2 and BG 1,2 and many many more, and i have never been so exited about a game waiting to be released. cheers.

lol really animated character sex, if I wanted porn i would go look it up I really don't want any weird asian animated characters banging when I'm playing a video game. I'm sure everyone feels nerdy enough with Magic and Swords I don't think they need to add sex to make it worse.

@ fittaihelvetet: thats underwear @sguint-eyed: the song fits perfectly, the games supposed to be dark fantasy, and Manson is as close as you can get in terms of music...i hope your not just a chav that doesnt like it because it has real instuments. also to ditto some other peoples comments, if you think it has too much blood and the music is too heavy you really need to just go buy nintendogs and get out of the way

Why are so many people complaining about their choice of music for their trailers? You're missing the bigger picture, like how great the game looks. Plus I'm sure that it won't be the soundtrack music for the game, it's just for advertisement purposes. Also if you're worried about a sex scene and blood, then you are obviously too young to be playing this type of game and you should tell your mommy not to pick it up for you.

I think the song fits the action parts (Though the chorus of that song is the only part i like), though i'm NOT a Manson fan AT ALL. The developers seem to like Mr. Manson though.

This game will ultimately be awesome or terrible based on the toolset. See NWN vs NWN2....Bioware has a knack for finding the exact balance between useability and complexity. If the community can start making great mods, the official campaign will soon be an after thought and the game will transcend into greatness.

@XDoggLegacy : World of Wacraft puts me to sleep. Btw, Origins arent turned based. WoW = a really dumbed down , easy to play rpg. Try playing Baldurs Gate or Icewin Dale. You dont see any real RPG fans whining about having to think thru tactics in order to actually win. WoW is so boring, you just hit 1-10 on the keyboard to activate abilities in any given order to slay mobs. 5 year olds can do it, that I know ; cuz I've seen it on the 'tube.

they make it look so sick with in game cinematics... Im a big fan of RPGs but I dont know about this... after playing wow I dont like the turn taking based rpg games as much. They are a little slower paced and put me to sleep. I hope the game play is as hyped as the trailers..

I thought the use of Marilyn Manson was great. How often do you find a song like that in a trailer for an RPG? Good song and I felt it fit the intensity and brutality of what was being shown on the screen. Can't wait for this game!

I still believe that the choice of music is a poor decision on the developers' part. I am hoping this is just a silly hoax and not a final decision.

Marilin Manson doesnt fit to this game , there are far more better and more apropiate metal bands , ever heard of folk metal and or pagan metal or even vicking metal those would sound better that this industrial or whatever metal Marilin is
