GOTY...you'll see...I don't predict that kind of thing EVER...but THIS is it. Uncharted 2, AC2, COD:MW2, Crack in Time...all will be epic, but (barring serious technical hiccups on consoles, which I don't foresee being a problem), I expect this to have even the naysayers suprised and trying desperately to drag their jaws off the floor

I hope the PS3 port delivers, the delay has me concerned. My dollars are currently split between Demon Souls and Dragon Age Origins, though I'm hoping Dragon Age Origins is epic.

im still really upset with the decision to take the overhead camera view out of the consoles. Also i'm assuming they won't allow the PC version HUD to be used for consoles either and preferabally PS3 as the consoles can easilly be used JUST LIKE a computer with the addition of a keyboard and mouse via usb WHICH i was hopeing to use for my ps3 CE version. now i'm just thinking of getting my money back because it isn't my idea and in no way possible to play an EPIC RPG from behind the back of my character, and as it seems the game might not even be released at all next month for PS3... I've NEVER seen a game ever and even in a game magazine where they review the game 1 MONTH before it is to be released and yet there's NO PS3 content to be seen nor played. Do they think they're going to port the ps3 version in 2 weeks or something? If these guys ruin this their whole reputation might go down the toilet.

I was really hyped about the bulders gate simularity of the game but now that they've taken away a "SIMPLE" camera aspect for us super tactical players inwhich this game is VERY tactical and they know a huge majority of us gamers whom are buying this on console NEED the overhead because tactacially iniated games are far too difficult if the camera view SUX. I wish developers would stop being SO LAZY saying the ps3 is too hard to develop for.(yet it makes them sound like NEWBS at making games, and the PS3 is a next gen console released in this gen so if they(other developers) can't even program a game on the ps3 i'd hate to see what they can't do on future consoles))). I really hope this game lives up to it's expectations because if square enix can make final fantasy XIII look as great as it does on both consoles then these guys should have NO problem porting this game, that is unless they just...need more training being they're sobbing because it's not pamper easy like the xbox 360 to develope and program for.

I'm just really angry right now and i probally didn't make much sense lol, lets just hope this game is fair to US ALL. I'm tired of getting ripped off on ports....like these guys only care about themselves and the money they can make and NOT their art. I wish developers would start making games individually for each console and for pc that way each console has it's own strengths and weakness's and whichever console you have is the choice you made and you should be happy with it. I'm not happy however with recieving CRAPPY ports from the most sophisticated and talented developers, it's just.... garbage... once again lets hope this will be PLATINUM! CHA-CHING!

choosing Zur's mainstream sound was a letdown for me, I was hoping for Jeremy Soule, or even Michael Hoenig, although gave up on game scores after Baldur's Gate, too bad :( @ illmatic87: it's more likely he uses Vienna on Gigastudio, or the East West Platinum

@ TheGreyArea I would guess he would use something like IK multimedia's Miroslav Philharmonik (most impressive orchestral VST imo) to draft his arrangements and then have the Orchestra replay his compositions. and the Collectors Edition includes a soundtrack i believe and possibly more footage of the audio composition process. The score sounds really impressive so far, the amount of coverage from the voice acting to the score seems to show the amount of effort and attention to detail Bioware are putting into this... i cant wait.

Nice...from the small amounts that were played in the video, I'm already looking forward to hearing more. I have to agree with previous posters - keep it orchestral!

I always have to thank gamespot when they post a video about music because I want them to know how much we appreciate it. They may not be the most popular videos, but there is definitely an avid group who really enjoys them. Thank you gamespot for recognizing the music!

I've actually been reading up on Zur (trying to figure out which orchestral plug-ins he's been using. Very impressed with his work so far, so was keen to get my Midi on some of the strings he's used so well. Settled for East West Quantum for the time being) dear god... if only to get Aubrey in front of a microphone for one of my pieces. her voice is literally, mind-bending I do actually hope a soundtrack cd or mp3 set will be available for this (Is it?) NOT LONG NOW!

Yay, now maybe all the folks that thought Marylin Manson's music was actually going to be in the game will relax.

Music is an important element of the immersion of a good RPG: Music can make or break it. Inon has accomplished a masterpiece composition for Dragon Age.:)

News on this game just keeps getting better. With the addition of a great score this game will truly be great. Stoked too, I just ordered home theater headphones

It's amazing the way Inon's eyes light up when he's discussing his music and his composition style. His passion definitely shows through in the music and I'm sure that his efforts will have helped make this game a pleasure to play through.

Wow, I looked Inon Zur up on IMDB and listened to his website. I didn't realize he scored Fallout3, The Prince of Persia, and Baldur's Gate II. Some good memories. In his works I can hear how he does play elements of the game's main theme throughout the score. Given the nature of the game and his work so far, I'm sure the music will be haunting and memorable.

This is going to meet strong critical acclaim. I can not wait for this game! Hopefully, this will make the charts for one of the best rpgs of all-time.

Hey.. I saw "Paragon Theme". That may mean Dragon Age will indeed feature a Paragon/Renegade system, similar to Mass Effect.
