The heroes fight their way through a dungeon.
tbh my team would beat the crap outta youre team XD i got mage/shapeshifter as healer/dps me as rouge dps dwarf as warrior blood dps and a templar/tanker/dps kinda guy lol we down enything sense i play the healer and heal every one up so they dont die and dont need to care about potions also in easy fights i go bear or i use frost and arcane magic sense im a arcane warrior i also have armor sheild and one handed on the mage so she can melle fight if not needed to heal great combo really.
Not so good :S
I hate rpgs designed like this
why i can't see video ?
really looks like strategy , they should have made it like the witcher ou yeaaaaaaa
i m a fun a RPG but this the control look stupid its like a strategy games wtf is this RPG or strategy game? who cares about story, graphic etc the control should be like in oblivion IV but its sucks
this is better than WOW
i hate the commercials.
This game is amazing.. spent loads of hours in it so far
way cool like diablo 2
This is such a WOW clone it makes me roll my eyes.
Eh... the coment by SteelFrenzy is accurate. If you are a NWN fan then you will probably enjoy.... but the action is very very slow and not really user based. In other words if you have the same character with same equipment, and I have the same character as you with the same equipment, there is really nothing to determine who would win in a duel whether I have played this for months and you only a day. There is multitasking with all your characters, but the battle system is still not very deep. Broad, but not deep. But, the stories are captivating, so if that is what you enjoy then power to you. Personally... I could install Diablo II LOD and have more fun. Furthermore, I am a fan of user based battle systems like Fable 2, so please do not use my opinion in your purchase. It was just not for me. P.S. Great graphics though, but the motion is kinda primative, in other words. You just kinda float up stairs and there isnt much detail in the ground. But I am picky like that.
It looks a lot like dungeon siege 2, but with better graphics. I don't like it that much from the videos I've seen. Maybe if I play it, it will change my mind, but I like more solo rpg's (not with group of heros) like oblivion...
nothing like torchlight...
Humorguy_basic You can turn off the damage numbers from the options menu actually
I love this game !
it's look's great ... but i think it's same as TorchLight ......... but i will buy it
nice gameplay..it reminds me of neverwinter nights 2 but i wish to play this soon!!
Funny, I am playing Baldur's Gate again while I wait for Dragon's Age: Origins, and I just had my first fight with giant spiders in a woman's house. It was right at the start of the game,so i thought they'd be a push over, but just like with DA, you really have to fight tactically! First mod i'd like to see would be one to take those silly numbers away from rising out of their heads! he horizontal bar is enough to see how your damaging them! Given how more action-orientated the console version of DA is, I hope console owners will now understand why PC owners get annoyed a console conversions that take away the strategy and roleplayinga and replace it with action. PC owner want a little more meat on the bone, like with Fallout 3, Risen, The Witcher and yes, Dragon Age: Origins! Maybe other companies will see the success of DA and make action orientated RPG's for console but hardcore games for PC gamers again, like it used to be 5-7 years ago!
Poor combat system. Who in their right minds would call that exciting? I mean, sure, it's a strategy rpg but give me a break. Combat is a large part of gameplay, and rather than doing something new and innovative they just recycled the same old s*** that we've seen time and TIME again. Can't we move on from these linear combat mechanics? At any rate, I'm sure it's good for those who like the "classics" but for me they could have done better.
This game is probably a lot different, but from this scene alone it kinda looks like the combat system of NWN 2, but I'm sure much better. (NWN 2 rocked but this game just looks plain amazing)
sickk!!! and yes also on ps3 and xbox =)
I wish it had a multiplayer option :/ but the game's awesome anyway!
Hah, I expected the War Dog to have some kind of howling buff or de-buff, and there it is.
Looks awesome. Love the little details like the spiders' fat butts wobbling around when they attack.
I gta get this for the 360, i know my pc cant hold this lol. i just know that the camera angle is gna kill me. Ill kill an enemy, think i accomplished sumthin, and turn around and theres 5 more enemies charging me... fml lol
It's good to know that you can maneuver around the camera.
@ Mc1csmo the PC version is the only one with the option of the zoomed out view
Is the low angle perpective the only option on 360 or can it pull out like on the PC? I've seen pc versions that show a higher angle pull-outbut so far not on the x360.
No framerate lag, animation excellent.:)
