Join in the fight to save humankind from annihilation!
Keren abisss!
this look very much like lord of the ring but without the ring
nah don't think EA is gonna do anything bad here, they aren't developing this, just handing over money to BioWare so they can make yet another great game!!! EA = MONEY FOR DEVELOPMENT! BIOWARE = DEVELOPMENT Loads of cash + good development = great games!
Can't wait. :D
The anticipation builds! Don't let us down EA!
I think this is the best video i've seen for the game yet.
awww yah
Hope it comes for the date its written there, looks cool
This game must be great.I like its worlds' atmosphere.
Dont care much for TB combat(even if it is done in realtime), but I can never pass up a good story, or a bioware game for that matter :P
very promising
Will have to wait before passing judgment on this game. The true lover of RPGs might find this game to be awesome. Like all RPGs its the choices we make that are just as important as the battle mechanics. The graphics do not look all that bad, much like those in Fable II.

Dragon Fire 417 The elder scrolls series are all crap, just like this, even the graphic look bad, Get over it, you got pwned by me. And no your on topic sounded just as off as your life.
I'm sold...this looks to be just what the doctor ordered to get my RPG fix under control.
I cant wait for this game, been itching for a new console RPG for a while.
GamerankingsUK, seriously get over it, stop lingering and go play your Oblivion or whatever 'stuff' you play, no one here cares if you think it will be a 'Fail' just because it won't be like Oblivion (which indeed was a fail compared to Morrowind). So please for the sake of yourself stop making a ass of yourself. Now on-topic. This game looks fun, and it will be fun, I actually play Strategy games, unlike some people who go swinging swords at three-eyed trolls that have scaled-levels, lol. Also this unlike other games will have a story, and actually have characters with stories, that is what drives Biowares games, a lot of people don't play video games for the stories, which makes me sad, because the ones who believe "RPG" means "ACTION FIGHTING SWORD SLASHIN EM UP" spam discussion of "Classic RPG" saying how it will fail.
It is turned based just in real time so I predict a fail.
Wait I take back what I said! After going on there site I found out that it is a real time combat based game, although you can fight with some strategy by pausing the game and chosing your moves. Anyway it was their long FAQ that has got me intrested in this game..not their trailers. They are going on about a big world and tons of side quests and armor to chose as well as being allowed to randomly kill all the npcs you encounter. There is a huge and great back story to the game and the stuff RPG wise of what you can do in the game seems great. As long as the game allows you to fight yourself I'm happy. "Origin stories are a major feature of the Dragon Age experience. You choose your origin, and from that starting point, your story begins. You play through your character's early days, defining his or her background and motivation and begin to learn more about the world of Ferelden from your own distinct perspective. Your choice of origin defines how you will view the world and how it views you. Choose a sneaky, disrespected commoner and you will play a story that focuses around subtle skills and careful wordplay. Choose a noble origin and the world will be much more positive and helpful, but those jealous of your status will not be afraid to take what you have, violently if necessary. More will be revealed on these stories soon? In Dragon Age, your choices change the world and affect the people around you. Certain situations, storylines, and conversation options will change drastically depending on your origin and your motivations. Every journey through Ferelden will be unique." This sounds good, a bit like mass effect accept you play your background yourself. Sadly I won't have a lot of time for this game if it comes out in Nov because Kingdom Under Fire II is coming out some time then and I'll be more occupied on that....for months! But if I do have time I will buy this..it is intresting even when I said it was bad I still was intrested in it. Lets just hope they manage to provide all this epicness that there on about.

This game will not be good. I can see it...games like this are not wanted anymore by people who have played the new rpgs on this computer. Everyone wants free roamers.
I think the online part would be like the NWN series.
does anyone know if this is going to be online or not?
I am soooo looking forward to this game, it can't come out soon enough...
GodDemon, I don't find that Brit's voice at all sissy. He sounds like a rather big Brit. And its and RPG (which are more oft than not huge) so you can't expect the graphics and animations to be the best. I don't have a problem with them, personally. If you're in for a fighting game, then yes, it will be boring. Its a role-playing game. You know? Talking, training, and questing. Its from Bioware. It will be reviewed well. You may not like it, but it will be reviewed well, and I'll pick it up when I can.
Cooooooooooooool
That stuff was done in Arx fatalis.
I welcome the addition to making magic "interact" with one another in the environment. I've been wondering for years why this wasn't done. More depth..is a good thing. I wonder if I could put out a fire on an entire village or cause one?
I've enjoyed most of the Bioware games so far. Loved Baldur's Gade, Neverwinter Nights, so i expect great things to come from them. If this game is as good as the previous ones, I'll be one happy gamer.
i trust bioware. at least we will listen an amazing and epic story. just take a look bioware's past game and you will see that. but i must say trailer's itself is not amazing. it looks like a hollywood soap movie trailers with fast scene changes.
Wow, terrrrible trailer, the game looks ok, but the trailer itself is sooo amateur.
i think this game is looking good and way better than sacred 2

I agree GodDemon, very realistic observation, and it does seem somewhat boring, still, the game might be fun to play regardless of how imperfect it might seem now, and who are those zombies, they remind of those undead from RTCW.

Now this explains why the game will be crap: Voices are very weak for the characters. Sissy British accents don't work with massive brutes in a world of war. maybe more manly Brits should take to the mics. The rendering looks good but hard on the eyes, a lot of movement and bad animation in combat makes the game look boring and not really worth playing. I saw 1 dragon and it looks really bad. Purple? Monsters are cool but reminds me of WoW which isn't good at all. I'd love to play this game if there was more to it. Never bring in a dog as a character to fight just shows lack of creativity in a world of magic...a dog comes to fight with you... If you want to talk origins read up on DnD. This looks like a rip of other games and movies. Postpone the game its not ready at all I'm sorry, I hope the developers read our comments it be nice to know our feedback is important :-)
Vargre666 and DUN METHINKS you 2 seem retarded, and the cup movement is so **** it looks like he's puting a cup over his head, this game will be a failure and it will be awful too. The combat looks just as bad as those things around peoples feet and Bioware always make these crap team based games that not a lot of people like. P.S replys won't be viewed!
Looks EPIC!
it would be awesome if you could play as the undead/evil guys :D
I have a few questions on Dragon Age. Will there be as many items and things that were in Mass Effect in Dragon Age? I personaly found some of it kind of annoying because I remember playing the first 30 minutes, and finding something every 2-5. I had to access my menu very very very often and I found it some of a hassle. My other question is on if Dragon Age will offer a little tutorial before playing the actual game. I remember playing Mass Effect and now knowing what to do until about 2 hours in. I think I tutorial or maybe a pre-game extra demo level or something would be very beneficial. If anyone could respond, that would be great.
clueless people dont deserve attention. The fact alone that the devs dedicate/base Dragon Age on Baldur's Gate deserves +1 purcase from me. This is the evidence that good singleplayer games with a good story aren't dead.
Goddemon, the cup movement is called drinking.. in reality i am a man with a beard so i`d love to play as such... and the game is inspired by epics such as Baldur's gate 1 & 2 which will never die..and these were always party based. sorry but i cannot label you anything else but stupid.
the game looks almost completed then y are they taking it sooooo long to release it???????
GodDemon, no offense...but...are you maybe retarded? First, he didnt "put a cup over his head..." He drank from a chalice. 2nd, if youve been following any of the previous Dragon Age info, you would know that you can choose what race, sex and class you play. Im positive that with Bioware doing it, your going to have not only those choices but youll be able to alter your facial structure at least to the extent of Mass Effect. You cant be an "evil ork" because your a Grey Warden. If you want to play an "evil ork" play WAR. And METHINKS that your probably in the extreme minority to think this game is a "failure already..." This game DOES look epic, its by Bioware who put out absolutely amazing games, it looks gorgeous, we know its a franchise so there are going to be several games in the series....as Vlaimir Lem86 put is, "mark my words, this game will be epic..." Well said.
Why did he put a cup over his head? Any why do you have to play as a man with a beard? Why can't I be a evil orc? And...Urggh..it's party based... It's a failure already methinks.
Mark my words, this game will be epic.
Man, it looks like they have a lot of the game completed already. Long time til release though.
And by the way, I am not panning the game, trailer, or concept as a failure. I simply pointed out the flaws with the trailer, and thus my comment deserves a place here.
I am not criticizing the game, or juding a book by it's cover. I am simply judging the TRAILER not the GAME. I expressed how I felt about the trailer and how I thought they could improve it, which is a REAL comment unlike those comments that are everywhere. If you want to say "Looks good" about 150 other people at that same time want to do the same, so please, refrain from commenting with that tiny bit of spam. What I posted was a real comment, if not a mini review of the trailer itself and you can't criticize a man for his views on ANY GIVEN THING. P.S., please use something called "Spell check" on these comments.
ill keeping up with it and see if i will like it
