Best single player RPG i have played since Final Fantasy 7

User Rating: 9.5 | Dragon Age: Origins (Collector's Edition) PC
Let me get straight to Pros and Cons, then ill explain some more.

Pros:
Graphics - It looks amazing and yet it does not eat up too much system performance.
Dialog - On par with Vampire: Masquerade. Some of the best voice acting in a RPG.
Storyline: You will start in different situations and places depending on your race and background. But eventually you will all join the Grey Warden(good guys) and fight off demons. The story is very deep and the awesome dialogs made it even more interesting.
Spells - There are tons of spells to chose from in the game and often the spells you choose can make your character a totally different class. Ex. Rogues can have the ability to become archers if they spend points in the archery talents and mages can become healers if they put points in spirit talents.
Interaction with your own party members is something new, you can talk to your party members or give them gifts inorder to make them appreciate and respect you, in return they gain bonuses to stats depending on their relationship with you. If you are wondering if you can have sex in game, the answer is yes. If you have 2 girls in your party, oh boy, they will get jealous of each other lol.

Cons:
Materials for professions are extremely hard to find. I play a mage and i rely alot on mana pots. In order to make the mana pots i need herbs and flasks. The herbs are easy to find, its the damn flasks thats a pain in the ass. I have only found 10-15 flasks so far.
Penalty for death is a pain in the butt, im playing on hard mode thus my characters dies very frequently, especially melees. Everytime you die you suffer a penalty to stats or damage. A injury kit can take away the penalty but the kit is a b1tch to find, you can make the kits from profession but i cant find the required materials like i said above.
Far too many melee/archers that deals physical damage which makes you wonder is all the spell resistance necessary?
Gold is far too hard to make/find. Besides quests, there is barely any gold that drops off enemies. You spend lots of money to bribe people on quests, to help the poor and in the end you cant afford crap yourself because gold is so damn hard to make.(this is in hard mode, idk if gold is easier to make in other modes)
The targeting system is a pain in the ass. if you want to switch targets you have to put your mouse over the targeted enemy and click. Its very frustrating when you are playing a ranged dps and your group crowds in front of the enemy which makes it hard to target.

Although it seems like listed alot of Cons, trust me for a game of this magnitude, the cons i listed is really insignificant and im sure bioware is already making a patch as we speak.

Dragon age is a mix from all the great RPGs you have played. It takes elements from Oblivion, WoW, Diablo, Guild Wars and mesh them all together with lots of goodies and come up with one of the best single player RPG in decades. This game is definitely worth playing if you even have a slightest interest in rpg.
