The battle with the darkspawn creatures continues! Really good expansion pack which is absolutely worth to play.

The story in this expansion pack takes place six months after the original game.
Just at the beginning of the game we are to choose whether to import our hero from Dragon Age: Origins or create a new one. If we decide to create a new one, we will play as the Orleasian soldier. No matter what decision we make, we will begin as a Grey Warden's commander.

Six months have passed since the day when the archdemon has been killed. The darkspawn hided in the Deep Roads, but not all of them unfortunately. Some of them decided to stay on the surface. This is our goal as a Grey Warden, to fight with demons and protect the innocent. A new enemy awaits and once again, the future of Ferelden is in our hands.

In Dragon Age: Origins Awakening we will visit new and interesting places like Amaranthine City. Important decision is connected with this city and you will see what I'm talking about when you play the game. New items appeared such as stamina potion, which regenerates our stamina in the battle. Also new weapons like the legendary sword Vigilance - to have it, we will have to complete the quest. New specializations like Battlemage or guardian and new abilities.
The Warden's headquarters called Vigil's Keep was rebulit once again and we our in charge there.
What's more, during the game we will meet new NPC's and some of them will become our companions. My favorite is Anders - he's a mage, a spirit healer. Anders has the attitude very similar to Alistair's. A laid-back attitude and he's carefree. Really cool character. He and Alistair are my favorite.
Speaking about Alistair, if we decided to make him a king in Origins, he will appear at the beginning of the game. Too bad, we won't see him again later in the story of Dragon Age: Awakening.
Once again we will have to make important decisions like in the original game. It's really good because this is what makes a good RPG also. Unfortunately we can't talk to our companions fully like we could in Origins. Too bad. Moreover, this expansion pack isn't long so don't expect to play twenty hours for example. In my opinion, it could be longer but overall it's ok.
There are some side-quests which make the game longer.
The world of Dragon Age: Awakening, I mean places we visit are once again a little bit linear just like in the the full game.

The graphics are still not as good as it should be, well, let's hope Bioware will fix it and make it a lot better in Dragon Age 2. I hope so.

The music in the game is well done, the voice-over is really professional.

All in all, Dragon Age: Origins Awakening is a worth playing expansion pack. It's not as good as the original game, but I recommend it to all of you who beat the full game and to these who didn't beat Origins but like fantasy games. Now Great Wardens, let's kick some darkspawn ass hehe!
