Now the game of Dragon Age is actually not bad for its story line because it does take a while and is worth it for that. And it's not bad since its sort of a single-player version of World of Warcraft as a style of gameplay. With the bar down the bottom that you can macro items and spells to, it mimics World of Warcraft but with the team combat is unique as I've not seen a good single-player game come away with that.

So the most annoying part of this game for me was the difficulty. Now at the start and near the end it seems pretty easy. With everything that you can 1 shot at the end and 2 shot at the start. It makes it seem all too easy. And that's when the boss fight comes in and blows you away with its 5000 health while you have a mere 150 health. It just doesn't seem fair. But then again, in the end boss fight you do get an army or 4 to go after it depending on if the men die in the process. Since my men didn't I did it in one.

Now the difficulty of this game really started to annoy me when I desperately needed to enter a room that was filled with mages which deal a lot of damage and the save was just outside. I couldn't send in my warrior to take the damage because he would just die, and my mage was weak as well. So that meant I had to cheat, which I try not to do if I can avoid it. But it did help me get through the stupid room so I could continue the game. It was only the next day did I ask my friend how to do it and he explained it. It just seemed so easy after that…

The ability to control your character and 3 others in your party, it always makes for a nice touch when you can go and stun individual opponents until they are dead. Gotta love your shield warriors and rogues. But then again, you only get a maximum party of 4 plus whatever allies are around depending on the situation. But for the most case it's just 4. And its with these 4 characters that you are meant to stand against wave after wave of the various enemies in the game.

The length of the game can get quite annoying. I had over 40 hours logged on Xfire, but that's with all the start stories played through and having to leave every hour for 5 minutes or so. Now I had to miss the majority of the side quests to get this far but it was well worth it. It had a solid storyline that really can only be described as a "Choose your own adventure" sort of story for the start and the end. But all in all the game has about the same sort of story in the middle that links in all the start stories into one to make one pretty good and reliable storyline that you can trust.
