Dragon Age Origin takes place in Felderan and involves around team game play of characters that side by you and follow your controls.
Its an open ended RPG where your choices have great effects on the overall outcome of the game. You get to select a class with which you play and can as the game progresses have your own team of side kicks involving a mage, dwarf, assassin etc. who fight by your side in this epic adventure.
As soon as you are pushed into a fight the game pauses automatically allowing you to select the responses from your team and assign each character to attack someone of your choice. Also you can chose what spell and power you want to use on any particular enemy. More or less you will have to concentrate first on the mage of whoever is the powerful one in the AI group. The storyline is amazing and the characters have surprising depths to their line and the turns and twists are totally unpredictable. You can also fall in love in the course of game once or twice.
Some of the humor is very sharp and witty. Overall, Dragon Age Origins is a highly addictive game that demands a second play.
