So some people don't think it looks pretty? Who cares? The game is fun, the game is addicting, and the game is great!
Now, I'm not saying its all gamers but its a very fair chunk.
Dragon Age: Origins is without a doubt one of the best RPGs that I have ever played before in my life. I've seen the screen shots comparing the 360 version to the PS3 version, to the PC version. Sure, PS3 and PC may look better, but that doesn't matter to me. What I want when it comes to a roleplaying games is; a good story, good gameplay, fun battles, and something that I can tune the world out with while I play. Dragon Age: Origins gives me all of this.
That's what a great RPG is all about, something you can just bury yourself into and love and enjoy the world.
Dialogue with the party is really good in my opinion. This game also goes back to something that Bioware did in KoToR in which your actions have positive and negative reactions from your party members which I like. You have to treat your party members with respect, make good decisions and earn their trust and really talk to them to get to know them, that is to me, simply outstanding.
Its almost as if Bioware just can't go wrong with this title.
So in closing, don't be like one guy who's review I saw said that this game "mediocre" and he spent his entire review talking about how flawed the colors were, and how "ugly" it looked. That's not what fully makes or breaks a game. Is it fun? Does it have a good story? Can you lose yourself in it? Is the gameplay fun for you? If the answer is yes, than its a good game.
So get the game and enjoy yourself...because we have a little over a month away for Mass Effect 2.
