Great extensive story. Great replay. minor downfalls

If your going to get a game I would recommend Dragon Age for several reasons. To begin with the game has a great story that spans over an average of 55 hours of game play excluding the 2 DC extensions. I went just about every single place in the game, not sure I missed much. Over all you have a lot of freedom of where you want to go, several different choices that could change a lot in the game. I recommend having 2 or 3 saves so you can explore all the possible options for each major discussion. I found myself saying "gee golly I wish I had saved before choosing that dialog." Problem is you don't see it coming about 1/2 the time and it's too late to make that separate save. as well SAVE OFTEN. the auto save is nice, but triggered at key parts. you could lose over 2 hours of exploring based on the distraction and enjoyment of playing and forgetting to save.
On the topic of downfalls in a glorious game, the graphics on my 1080i 43" hdtv made it look like I was playing on a 30" standard tube TV. I found my characters dying often before I could give them the signal to heal. constantly watch health and choose a new action for each character to take as soon as he/she's finished executing the first. You have the option to highlight a quest on the quest page as your "active quest." Yet there is no indication on the map as to where you should go to execute the quest. Even if it's in a building in the town your already in. This proves to be frustrating. I still finished almost all side quests as well as the game with the exclusion of 5 or 6 side quests that the description wasn't direct enough.

I'm not trading the game in yet, but I got mine used 2 days after it came out so it seems a lot of people have. If you have a computer, get it for the computer, the graphics look better and the game play was based for the PC, the console construction of the game was a little weak. But now my human noble warrior has defeated the Blight by slaying the Dark spawn's Arch demon, I'll try my luck with a Daylish Elf Rouge. Lots of chests to pick. have fun gaming!
