Well worth the wait

I'd been waiting for this game for some time, and I have to say that I am more than pleased with what I've found so far. I've been spending most of my spare time playing it, which is something I've not done for years with any game. Rather than giving an exhausting review, I'll keep it short and sweet.

What I like about this game first and foremost is the storyline. This world is richly detailed with a lengthy backstory and the characters are well developed. The banter back and forth during the downtimes can be especially amusing or informative. I also appreciate that sometimes there is simply no option to take the high road, and the only way to do what is right is to upset the "good guys" for the greater good. The music and sound effects are appropriate, and the visuals, while not groundbreaking are still attractive.

There are really only a few points that I am not terribly fond of in this game. One problem is the lip-synching; it just is not up to par for a high-profile game. The other graphics are also not as pretty as they could be. The static nature of the world is a bit jarring after playing games like Oblivion; here time never really changes, and people don't wander the streets, or have unexpected encounters.

Negative points notwithstanding, I do still love this game, and am completely engrossed in it. Score another win for BioWare!
