Truly immersive game with challenging combat, deep relationships, and hours of story.

User Rating: 8.5 | Dragon Age: Origins - Ultimate Edition PS3
The good:
-Highly customizable characters, different races, classes (and 2nd classes) with skill sets/trees to make your hero just the way you want.
-Many different 'Origins' to play as different characters that give different perspective on the story and also change how NPCs and the story interacts with you depending on your race.
-Gratifying difficulty
-Interesting cast and NPC bring the world to life immersing you in the game
-Great western RPG style game allowing freedom to play as you see fit, making choices that effect the story.
-Lots of side-quests, character storylines, and with the DLC extra content even more things to kill and cool loot to grab.
-Enemies scale with you as you level so the combat never gets easy or simple

The mediocre or bad:
-Combat can feel clunky. A weird mix of action like RPG but more like old school point/click and watch the action. Areas can easily get crowded with enemies pushing your character aside where if left unchecked will hesitate to perform their action while they get their head bashed in, or conversely if you try to micro-manage your character too much it will often interrupt their actions. Making battle mechanics frustrating at times, especially playing on harder difficulties.

Bottom-Line: great immersive story with many many hours to invest in building your character and relationships within the game.
