Dragon Age Inquisition the so called return to form for Bioware,

Now im going to start off this review by saying i only enjoyed 40% of this game, the other 60 either i either was bored or was just going about doing something slightly good. Story not original however its a story that is great though its numerous enjoyable characters. an example Ironbull who has to be easily one of the most drawing characters as of how different he is to other Qunari, My main grief with the story is how it forces the player to earn a new feature called power which forces the player to dedicate their time to tasks inside its numerious area's. On paper it doesn't sound bad however when playing the game and you get to an interesting enjoyable part of the story your forced into another few hours of setting up tents or doing meaningless fetch quests with verly little emotional or moral value/ interest. Don't get me wrong there are a few very interesting quests but to me the whole power sysetm is really just a way to try and drag out the game and make it feel epic when actually it just keeps boring the player. 72 hours is how long i spent before completing this game and its horrendous final boss battles now which feel rushed however when you do get to enjoy a Main Quest or Party Dialouge in your fortress its an absoulute gem

Gameplay The gameplay is like a more fluid version of 2 with the option to play with the original tactical camera from Origins PC version. It should also be noted that camera is not just overhead it can be moved to all different angles.

you can choose from different Races( Humans, Elfs Dwarfs and Qunari) as well as chose the gender or skin tone of your character. You also have to decide what Class you play as a Mage, Warrior or Rouge with other specifactions added. now if you did not like the repetitiveness of Dragon Age 2's well not much has changed and suspect to be shocked just as to stiff your character feels if you dont play as a rouge or Elf

Now in my opinion reading over this review its sounds like im hating but youve got to understand ive played though Origins over 6 times and hold it dearly as a gamer.Believe it or not the game comes close to recpapturing the feel with the interesting lore and characters it presents, And when there is dialogue its really spectacular stuff but its feels little far between when i have to do boring mundane tasks for 6 hours before i get the chance to experience it. overall this game deserves a 8 out 10 whereas it may not be game that would convince people to pick up a next gen console for its truelly a must own if you have got a last gen console or PC
