User Rating: 8.3 | Dracula INTV
It's kinda hard to rate these old games since graphics/sound are abysmal by today's standards, so I chose to rate relative to the Intellivision library on the whole. Imagic's Dracula is a side-scrolling action game where you play Dracula rather than those trying to kill the vampire lord. As you lumber (literally) down the city streets you'll find bystanders to chomp on. The graphics are simple and clean, a couple of neat tunes and effects accompany the different bits of action. Other times the residents are hiding so you must knock on their door and lure them out. All the while you must dodge stake-throwing bobbies and gnarling dogs who can stop you from getting the needed blood supply before sunrise. You can change into bat form to dodge attacks and the later levels make this necessary while eating into your time to get neck bites. I thought Dracula was a lot of fun and innovative as most Imagic games were. You can play this game on the Intellivision Rocks! collection if you don't still have your Intellivision lying around. If you are an Intellivision collector, this is a must-have game.
