Probably overlooked by many - great, great multiplayer action!

This game looks like Tetris, but it's a lot more fun. The key is the multiplayer mode on the Classic game. As you compete to eliminate the viruses, you try to set up combos which will drop additional blocks on your opponent. This of course messes up your opponents efforts and makes for a challenging and spirited match. Nintendo did a great thing by making this an online game.

One complaint - on the original version, the multiplayer match was set up as a best of three. This is no longer an option - matches are purely one game at a time. I found the best of three matches more fun because if two equally matched players compete, a single game can easily go either way. Sorta like basketball and reason they play best of 5 or 7 in a series.

Other than that, I love the game. The single player is OK, but the true genius of Dr. Mario is in the multiplayer! Give it a chance, it's one of the best puzzle games available.
