Last night on Death Prophet, went 26-2 with over 1,000 XPM. I've had more kills and even a 31-1 game, but I didn't dominate this hard. I'm not a very good player, and certainly this other team wasn't very good either, but it was highly satisfying. I actually 1v5'd their team once. I had too much health and regen for them to bring me down, I just popped my ultimate and used Crypt Swarm every time it was available and I killed them all in no time. I had over 7k left over at the end because I never got the chance to leave and spend it, I never had to leave their base once we started taking down towers.

Unfortunately I had my sharing settings to private, so none of this tracked on Dotabuff. I have a screenshot instead.

I've quite a few "best game evers" when they're generally really close.

One recent one that springs to mind was a Meepo game a few months back where we were hugely losing in kills yet won against the best efforts of a Warlock/KotL combo that was obliterating me (on a team with a fed Void) that I single-handedly turned around by catching Void alone in his jungle, making him blow Chrono on me only to hesitate and fail to kill the main body instead of a clone... then he took five poofs directly to the face, got stuck in an earthbind/geostrike chain, and got murdered.

Warlock came in and tried to drop Fatal Bonds -> golem on me right after, but only clipped two meepos with it - and at that point, I lifestealed more off the Golem with vlads than it dealt me. And Warlock got caught in a net and murdered.

Then KotL and the two other clowns came in to try and kill me - two of 'em died, the third got away. So ultra kill led to me pushing down bottom barracks by my lonesome (and picking up the fifth kill and another void kill when void bought back) and throning it for the victory. This is AFTER we were already down our top/mid barracks.

Played WC DotA last Monday with some friends. Played Lina who I haven't played in a long, long, loooong while. Went 10something-1-something.

I died because I was texting my gf and I failed to see that 2 or so heroes have respawned. I don't know what excuse my other teammate had for dying.

Wouldn't say it's my "best game ever" but it's definitely my best for the week.

I had a game where a bunch of randoms were on Mic and we were singing to each other. I was pretty drunskies at the time so I joined in. One guy on our team was raging so we made it a point to run away every time he initiated. He eventually ragequit and I'm pretty sure we ended up losing, but still counts for my best game ever.

I've probably had some better ones before, but more recently my favorite game has been my first nyx game in a while, in which I went 24/5 (died 3 times at the end because I was trying stuff out, but we had already won at that point), with nothing more than arcane boots, drums and a dagon 5. We were kind of losing during the mid game, but at some point I got an ultra kill, and just snowballed from there and ganked everyone nonstop. Was a pretty fun as hell game.

No idea really but some of the better games I've played are ones where my team wins exclusively because I picked ES.

Not the "best" game, but a game that stood out was one I played a few days ago, which had the biggest comeback I've ever seen, even having played Dota close to a decade.

Enemy Slark went middle and crushed the Invoker there, who was 0-4-0 around 5 minutes. Then he started roaming and basically won the game by himself, his score was 28-2 at 25 minutes.

Around that time we had 2 lanes of barracks gone and a 25-30k gold/XP disadvantage before 30 minutes, so it should've been impossible to come back from that.
But the enemy Alchemist player farmed up a Rapier and we ended up getting it since they started playing pretty carelessly. I guess they thought they had won already, I certainly thought so and was just waiting for the game to end.

Anyhow, our Troll got the Rapier which probably made them sweat for a bit. We did some damage with it but then the Slark got it, and Alchemist bought a second one.
After some more fighting and poor choices from their side we got one of the Rapiers again, lost it, and then we got both on Troll again. The Rapiers must've changed hands at least seven times.

With both the Rapiers and a Gem (also courtesy of enemy team) we managed to come back from that and ended up taking their throne.

I bet his team was happy with that Alchemist.

Started really weak with a noobish death to Lanaya but from what I remember played pretty much on point since then, we were still losing pretty badly but I managed to turn the tide (end stats dont really tell the whole story since we were losing for most of the game pretty badly). For anyone interested in watching I suggest using my player perspective (QoP).

I just had a AR game that resulted in a 15-17 min double rax. Not my best but was still pretty entertaining.

What is this, a game of some sort?

    What defines a "best" game?

A game where it's back and forth all game, pretty even, and you end up winning?

A game where you're getting stomped the whole match, but then make a good play for the win?

A game where you have a great start and just ball out of control?

I'm sure every pub player has had several of each.

Probably games where you win because you outplayed the other team and not because you facerolled braindead pubtrash.
