my favorite game to all time!
My childhood was ruined by this game, Doom was and is, one of my timeless favorite games.
epic!!!!! I've always loved this game, it's definately the definative game from the 90's (and star craft of course).
These were good days
Yes...sweet memories, Specially when this was your first PC game! It was for me. This game remembers me of my childhood.
Ahhhh... the sweet, sweet memories!
A famous fps game for years.
SWEET GAME!!!!!!!!!!
Damn game owns my soul. You can find it somewhere in those DOS corridors if you keep an eye out for it late at night x(
good times, good times.
that was awesome i remember playing this as a kid god i loved that chain gun :D
I don't think there is one. The crosshair wasn't even necessary until Quake II, when you could truly free-look like in modern shooters. Until then, you had to be stationary to look up/down (or couldn't look up and down at all). That said, the old-style shooters like Wolf 3D, Doom 1 and 2, and the first Quake had control schemes that at the time made sense; until Quake I, true 3-dimensional worlds were impossible, so why bother letting us look up and down if there's nothing there but a floor or ceiling? After Quake, they just kept the same controls because WASD hadn't been conceived yet.
wow, really classic, but i don't see crosshair
