Still love it after all these years.

Keep in mind that this is basically a remake of game from 2004.

I love it. As a Doom fan, it's nice to see ID do something Doom related for once (as opposed to how lazy they've been with Doom 4 over the last 8 years).

The graphics are decent, but should be much better for a remastered version of an older game. To make up for that though, ID added new gameplay and various other features. They added a checkpoint system, which I was grateful for at first (I'm used to games with auto save features only), but it can get annoying at times due to the manual save option Doom games have always had. And they added a flashlight that you can use at all times, instead of the infamous system in the original Doom 3 where you could not use the flashlight and a gun at the same time. ID also added the Resurrection of Evil campaign DLC that the original Doom 3 eventually got and The Lost Mission, which was basically a deleted scene like you get with movies.

Gameplay wise, nothing has really changed (as you'd expect with a remastered version of a game) and is still very fun to play.
