Donkey Konga is back but the sequal just isn't as good as the original

Donkey Konga is back with a few new modes better multiplayer and a whole new song list but the game is too similar to the original and also isn't as good as the first one. In the original the soundtrack had something for everybody but in Donkey Konga 2 the soundtrack is mostly Rock & Hip/Hop and the songs just aren't as good but there are some good songs from bands like Incubus, Hoobastank, and REM but most of the others just aren't as good. The gameplay is about the same and Donkey Konga 2 is a little harder then the original but veterans of the orginal won't have much trouble completing the game even on the hardest difficulty. The multiplayer is much better in the second you can do a sort of CO-OP mode in which you will have to complete a song with a friend or a computer player. The new mini-games are way better then the ones in Donkey Konga 1 in the first one the mini-games were not very much fun but in the second one the are fun to play and are challenging. The graphics are an improvment over the originals graphics they are much easier to look at but they still are not fabulous. The sound isn't as good as the first games the covers are still horrible but the soundtrack isn't as good the first game had music for everybody spanning from classic rock to video game music while in the second one the soundtrack is mostly rock & hip/hop. Donkey Konga 2 is a good game but it doesn't change much from the first one and doesn't have as good of a soundtrack so instead of getting this one get the original but if your craving more Donkey Konga this is still a great game to get.
