This was officially the game that started Mario and Donkey Kong. The plot is similar to King Kong because the gorilla, Donkey Kong kidnaps Mario's girlfriend named Pauline at the time (not sure what happened between her and Peach later on), and it's up to Mario to rescue her. But I am a little mad at the box art for the game. On the box art, Mario looks like Quagmire in a Mario costume whereas he has his regular design in the game itself. Well, it was Mario's debut, and first appearances are a little different from their future appearance, even look at Ronald McDonald's debut and compare it to now, but lets stay on the game topic. This game is very difficult though, even in the beginning, but still enjoyable. I recommend this game to anyone who likes classic games, so download it on your Wii after you read this if you never played it.
