How well does Donkey Kong return?
Gameplay: DKCR keeps the same old classic Donkey Kong gameplay, but provides something new and fresh. You will swing vines, blast through barrells and race on minecarts. None of that has changed.
Graphics: Simply amazing. The developers really did a great job. Everything looks in great detail, even the background and the level selection are jaw-dropping.
Story: Not much here except that new villains named Tikis have come to the island and have you their hypnotyzing powers to steal all of the Kong's bananas. Simple, yes but it works. Another note is that the Kremlings are gone
Audio: Keeping some old Donkey Kong classics and adding new songs to the mix the audio in DKCR is just fantastic. Every area has a different music which can be listened to after that world is completed.
Replay Value: After the game is done there is still some stuff to do. In each level there are puzzle pieces and the word KONG hidden. Finding them all can be very difficult.
All in all this game is good enough to take on the other great wii games
