As gamespot has said, Super Mario 64 and Banjo Kazooie lovers will certainly love this one.

Donkey Kong 64 is perhaps the only Donkey Kong game that is good after the Donkey Kong Country series. DK64 is a 3D adventure that plays similar to Banjo-Kazooie and Super Mario 64. Your goal is to go around to different levels and perform different goals in order to collect Golden Bananas (similar to Power Stars and jiggys). ONe particular aspect that I enjoy about DK 64 is that you eventually free your entire family and are allowed to play as 5 different Kongs throughout the game. All Kongs are given different instruments, weapons, and special abilities. Throw in the fact that the tag barrels (the place where you can switch up Kongs) are located everywhere, you will find this game to be quite fun. The lack of originality and the fact that you have to best a few arcade games in order to fight the final bosses are the only real things that hurt this game.
