Platformers for the N64 where always fun they seem to be gradually declining on each system. Donkey Kong 64 was one of those Platfomers that blew me away. Once again King K. Rool has stolen all of the golden banannas but wait there is more he as also kidnapped all of your freinds. there are a total of five apes and you will have to rescue all of them very early in the game. Each ape comes with there own abilities, weapons and instruments. NPC's returning are Candy, who gives you musical instuments, Funky, who gives you gun-type weapons, Cranky, who will teach you new moves, and Wrinkly (who sadly passed away between DKC3 and DK64), gives you hints. If you are looking for a great game this is one, and one I still believe to have stood up against the test of time. it shows its age in the game but nonetheless it will appeal to many gamers. definely worth checking out of you are a Donkey Kong Fan.
