How do I beat Lady Dark (8-10 stage)?

I can't seem to avoid damage as she walks past me so I already start off at a loss. Do you have any hints or suggestions for handling this boss?

if you time it right, you can get through her legs without taking damage. With the heart attack, you have to clear the screen of the fog as quickly as you can to have any hope of surviving.

just concentrate on staying alive until lady dark throws the heart attack at you to create fog (avoid her feet as she walks past, kill the creatures she summons and avoid her lasers). wipe away the fog she creates, once the fog is gone, convert to Prince form and immediately attack lady dark while she's dazed. do this three times, and you should take her out.
