This game is indeed revolutionary because it perfectly combines board game and rpg. At the beginning you may choose one of these jobs: warrior,magician and thief. After you master a job you can change your job and by mastering two different jobs you can change to another for example: if you master warrior and then master magician you can become a spellswordsman.
Who has more money in the end wins. To have money you can conquer villages from monsters, but you have a lot of options in the middle of the game like hire a robo-assassin to kill your rival or you can beat your rival and play a prank on them like draw on their faces, change their hairstyle or change their name to Gaylord for example.
Believe me, after you play this game mario party will be put aside.
