Dead or Alive 2 is a great, fun, fighting game and perhaps the best in the series. While it's not the best fighting game out there, it is great nonetheless with some very cool fast game-play action.

There are several modes, which include the standards. Story Mode: which is pretty basic. Time Attack mode: which consists of you fighting computer opponents as fast as you can in order of achieving the fastest time score. Survival Mode,: which consists of you fighting and beating as many computer opponents as possible. Tag Battle: which lets you play ether, one player vs. the computer, each having two tag characters. Playing two-player tag battle working together against the computer. Playing two-player tag battle against one another, or play four-player tag battles, which is very fun playing with a group of friends. Team Battle: which lets you play against the computer or a friend with three characters in one battle. You have the standard Versus Mode, Sparring and you and even set up a computer vs. computer battle if you're in the mood for just watching.
While the Story Mode is rather short, and not really that appealing, Dead or Alive 2 stands strong within the other modes, and is a great game to play with friends.

You controls are great fast paced action. Triangle is to pound, O is to kick, Square is to block (as well as grading on coming moves) and X is to perform throw moves. Dead or Alive 2 consists on fast button mashing.

There are 12 characters to start of with, and 2 extra characters to unlock. Each character has their own move and skills while other characters are slow, but powerful. While there are only a handful of characters, Dead or Alive 2 is pretty solid.

The graphics are pretty sweet where the characters look more of anime style rather than realistic. Nice smooth modelling, nice background effects and superior animation.

The sound is great, except for the English voice acting, which sucks. Thankfully you can change it to Japanese, which is great.

Overall Dead or Alive is a very good fighting game. Not the best, but certainly a good one. If you like fighting games, great fast paced game-play, and big boobs… Dead or Alive 2 is a must play.
