hi, my feeling is i think new devil may cry -soon-to-be-release,dante look like when he was young back then in the game? think so?
I know this Dante's attitude is a bit hard to like, but the thing is that's a pretty accurate portrayal of a cocky male teen these days. Hopefully he grows up a bit by the end. But at least he's more Dante than Nero.
Not sure why the Demons are swearing though. That doesn't really fit.

So in the eyes of ninja theory and Capcom, more "mature" dialogue and setting is presented in the form of a hotheaded kid cursing like a sailor at a demon, who instead of your typical "I'm evil" style reply, curses like a sailor back?? I'm supposed to take THIS game more seriously than the others? (shakes head in disappointment and disbelief).
@Junior_AIN You mean you haven't been embarrassed by the dialogue in the previous games? I know I used to mute the game when someone would walk into my room because I thought someone might here Dante's lame puns.

you know just demons and monsters...they can at least hold back on the curses, and replace them with younger audience-friendlier words....but that would make it so f'in cheesy and wack- would you like that?.... i wouldn't
Geez, they talk like Demons that's for sure. I never heard so many word bombs since Bulletstorm. I couldn't help but laugh though cause the dialogue is so cheesy. I never took DMC dialogue seriously anyway, definitely not gonna to start now.

1 Like fukken lol'd. I didn't really like the way they reinvented Dante's looks, but his attitude seems fitting, maybe like how the original DMC Dante would've been when he was younger

The dialogue was HORRIBLE! Geez! Excessive use of curse words leads to lame dialogue. They should remember that for future reference.
