Dante goes from sleeping in the altogether to slashing demons into pieces in a matter of seconds in this explosive gameplay trailer.
For me, the story telling is what i"m looking forward to, regardless of all the stunts and smooth talking the developers have managed to keep from the previous titles. I hope they've got a good plot to 'wow' a fan like me. One more thing i'll like to know is if Dante's other brother would be playable.

Let's wait till the release and then talk if they did a good job or not. For me Dante looks great, and already exist 4 games with the old Dante. They are trying to revigorate the game and give it a new model of story...let's talk about bullshit after the release.

this game is going to be great. I can relate to the rebel personality he has so far and i think is an amazing idea. This game will do well im sure.

I want to like this game but I just dont know if I can. Donate was just too iconic of a character to completely toss away for the sake of change . Even if this Dante evolves into the one we know and love it's still going to be annoying to having to look at this drugged out emo punk cliche to get there. I'll probably give it a chance as a rental or buy it used just because it's a DMC game. But Capcom and NT aren't getting 60+ bucks from me on this one..
1 Like The music sounds like DMC soundtrack. But I still don't see any defining characteristic on this Reboot. But I like their guts to reboot Dante and I sure like THIS Dante rather than Nero. Devil May Cry is not destroyed... YET
@samus_my_life looking at dante the only consistency is his white hair (color not due) and a red coat, by same i think ur just refering to those 2 things
Also just read online that Ninja Theory didnt make alot of money on Heavenly Sword and Enslaved. So really the company is banking on this game. If this game flops its the end of the company and to Dante unless capcom lets another company takes a shot at it but still non the less Ninja Theory will be finished.
@ragnarok160 thanks man, and for people who worry about his hair color being white/grey, you can see his hair change when he is in limbo fighting the demons some of his hair is turning grey/white. So how i see it not in this game but maybe in the next installment he will have long Grey/White hair. I know that originally dante was born with grey/white hair,but even jane douglas said that its a reboot so their starting from scratch. Look from my opinion the first DMC was amazing, but when the second DMC came out it messed up the storyline, Dante's attitude was piss poor, and the graphics sucked(however i still play it from time to time). DMC 3 was a breath of fresh air when it came to gameplay and style compared to the second DMC, but nothing close to the first DMC and Dante's attitude was better then the second DMC but very cheesy at some points. DMC4 was like ok it has the style of DMC1 but why a new character and still the attitude was corny,and they never really tell the story of Nero so they leave you hanging. I think capcom was kind of lost and had no clue what direction they were going to go with this franchise? since DMC2 came out it was like a cluster f#%$ and everything was just jumping everywhere, because the timeline for the games are DMC3,1,4,2,and its just wild nothing was in order. I mean i still play them because im a fan of dmc. even the second DMC i play even though it was a poorly made game. its a reboot so give them a chance.

The game looks great and dante may have a new look but he's still the dante we know,oh and nice ending.
... Why does Dante look like that stupid clown Christian Ronaldo? ... and why is there no PC version. At least it looks like he still has his old classic moves and punkish charm. I'm interested in the plot and the extra gadgets and gear you'd get to spin about. Then I'll think about it.
