1 Like I have played and completed ALL DMCs and as far as I'm concerned this is the BEST reboot of a game I've seen in DECADES. FU@K ALL YOU YOUNG ONES who only think they know what there talking about. If ANY of you play to the end, you will see SO many references to the old DMCs but with I think one of the best story lines ever..........DANTE IS DEAD, LONG LIVE DANTE!!!!........( and vergil will rock in DMC2 )

2 Like on my ps3, finishing 4 or 5 missions of the game and i didn't face a single frame rate issue!!!!! what are you talking about?
@raziel2kain I have it on the ps3 and there are some slight frame rate issues. Not major, but they're still there. You start to notice them a lot more once you start PC gaming....not sure if you PC game or not. But yeah, it has some frame rate and texture pop in..nothing big.
1 Like looks fun to me....not big on games that require fluent combos though....cuz if i'm doing good but then i think about it my brain scatters and I mess up....it's a mental block kind of thing unfortunately....either way I thought Bayonetta and God Of War were wonderful games
Looking forward to playing this. But will i pay release price for it? No. wait till i see it in a few months for cheaper.
4 Like Dante at 1:27 vs. pizza! I bet the ladies almost jumped towards their monitor! hehehehe! The game, storyline and combat is great! First I thought this is a letdown from the classic Dante and DMC series. Glad I was wrong!
7 Like As a huge fan of the DMC games i have to admit that this new one is simply brilliant!!Gameplay is perfect,story is finally interesting,and Dante is full of life and personality and you can sympathize with him,don't get me wrong i love ''old'' Dante but he was just cool and nothing more.Give it a chance and you will love it!!

1 Like I enjoyed the new Devil May Cry from a gameplay perspective.Combat is the strongest part of the game.Change is necessary but it's a slightly letdown of the series.DMC was the God of War of the PS2 first years when it was the freshest thing on the market.Overall new DMC is a great game and enjoyable.Dante is Dante :D I think Ninja Theory did what they can do.Those who didn't like new character design of Dante,play DmC as Classic Dante Costume ;) Costume pack DLC is not free :(
I have to say the game is great, but what I really like about it is the Vergil's downfall dlc,ill only get it when the dlc is out.... with luck the price has dropped a lot because of haters xD cant wait to play with Vergil =)

Capcom have lost all my respect with the total mess up that is Resident evil 6. And it totally looks like God Fo War ! God of war is a far better game, with a greta story and well designed levels. Thius looks a little on the lame side for me.
I loved the first few games in the Devil May Cry series, looking forward to buying this when I have the available funds!
Compare to devil may cry 3 and 4, this game is easier and not much challange. demon with weak of angelic/demonic is just to make it look like there is more demons and fight harder but it not much different in fighting technic and limit the technic to use against it. Bosses have weakness, make it so easy to kill. It don't have the lock-on system, so the gun is shoot to enemy that is closest in that direction, even I want to shoot demon next to it. Without style change + lock-on, the comboes of each weapon are lower (included guns). Be able to change weapon during combo to create new combo is new things, but not quite efficient. It just become combo hunting games instead of hard fighting with all-out technic games. The part that make devil may cry be devil may cry is the hard level that need skill to play. Devil may cry 2 isn't successful because it's lack of this.

3 Like This game is amazing. I played all DmC titles, and I see that this last one carries even further the torch of the series soul, improving without betraying it's predecessors. Great work. Even more praise should go to the fact that instead of ripping off the God of War series, DmC succeeds definitely keeping it original, fresh, new, and full of innovation. Also I don't get why people is upset about his look. It's a prequel of the series. As in "It's a young Dante". What did you expect dudes? That he was born with long white hair? What's wrong with the new generation of gamers. They're so spoiled. Each kid, regardless the year he was born, should start up gaming with a C64 to be more thankful.
1 Like To be really honest with yoou guys and i say that as you guys as wonderful people who are here, on this site... I really LOVED it already plus I got it and the graphics are amazing and the gameplay is unbelieveablely great and the graphics are unbelieveably amazing.. sure when i read up on this sure they are a few bugs but the important thing is that i like it... when i read the review on this sure a few bugs in it and thats okay because a wise man once said nobody is perfect... i love you guys for not justing doing a good job but also for trying your best... noo game or anyone is perfect.. the fact is that you guys gave it your BEST and that what counts... in my opinion
Watching this.. makes me think about DMC4 deserves at least a 9. I played the game, the only part which i really enjoy is the last mission. (Those who played it will understand.) Also, i don't think they put effort in this new DMC, for example, how many types of enemies are there? Styg, elite Styg, DK( red and blue), rage (R&B), witch, butcher, tyrant, harpies, dreamcatcher (awesome btw) and lastly a flying SOBs which i really find annoying. They have no interaction between them and not fun to fight, except for dreamcatcher. Also, The weapons, OMG can they at least make them look cool? Anybody who played DMC 4, the enemies, weapons, story, character, settings, and FYI, it doesn"t come with a DLC.

I admit i like the new style , i know the oold DMC's had a really badass Vergil and Dante , but i like thisone for being more serious and balanced ,plus the gameplay iis just as cool as with the olnd ones, In the End My Opinion is : I Love it ! All i need now is a Playable Vergil , becouse sadly in the NEW DMC hes not as nearly epic as in DMC 3 , i need to chnage that ^^
Once you realize that this version of Dante is modeled after Tameem Antoniades, Ninja theories creative director, the game itself really depreciates in value. On that note, the combat is so slow... (30fps). Not sure why Capcom told NT to change Dante's looks or make the combat system less than 60fps but changes of this caliber are what we get when you give a good series (that originated in Japan most likely) and give it to a Western company... (Silent Hill anyone?)
3 Like @theaznfish lol? Even if your decree outing the identity of the game's muse (How do you know this exactly?) is correct, why the hell would that make the game depreciate in value as you say? Is that monetary value, replay value, fun factor value or is it literal airborne weapon value regarding the actual game? If you listen to this review or own a PC, you would know your statement on the limitation of framerate is false. Aren't you glad the core of your argument against this game can now be put aside as patently untrue? Everybody wins!

I am very much looking forward to Devil May Cry 5 arrival · To be honest · Devil May Cry's new character came out when I was shocked. I also find it very strange, but smaller brother Ding Dashu! Some resist, originally I was very disappointed! Later I found that I was attracted by the game operation · skills · various BOSS and various skills · a variety of weapons. Of course, the handsome figure part! A handsome figure supporting a game? The answer is certainly not! Such as the bullet storm · inside Uncle handsome fps in it? Unshaven · foul-mouthed .. but it is still a lot of fun FPS game! Handsome hero DOTA it? Obviously · · ·! It is also a very successful game map! Another example, the COD based class GHOST, I liked the characters. While it has been less than face · (I guess that is not very handsome) · I believe a lot of players have never seen it · · The characters in Saints Row handsome it? · But who can deny that this is not a great game! (At least I am very fond of Saints Row 3) like a game, not inside the characters, but the contents inside. If you really can not accept the new image of Devil May Cry 5, that can not play this game!
