1 Like Looks nice, this is clearly a DLC, not something should be in the game in the first place. I'm all into those DLCs which offer more challenge for those who seek it. I hope they add more of those challenges and make them harder.
2 Like No matter how awesome the game is, day one DLC is just another way for already rich companies to milk things for more money. ANY day one DLC is content that you should get for buying the game, period. Not something you should pay extra for the same day you shell out money for the game to begin with.
These companies will never stop their greedy corporate practices until the consumer stops paying for them. Boycott these types of practices people. Then maybe we'll start getting entire games for $50 instead of having to pay $100 or more over the course of a year or two for a actual finished product...

3 Like This Game Rocks...No matter how different it may seems it still rocks hard like Dante! Vergil looks cool in this game as cool dmc 3 that is..Dante looks as badass as he was in dmc 3 to me so im not surprised that they had the badass to a whole new level...to be precise the western style looks appealing but that doesnt taint the view of the Legendary DMC gameplay hack n Slash style...It looks cool and totally buying
4 Like As for the DLC, again, we should be happy that we'll be getting a chance to play as Vergil again. Only the 2nd time in the series we get to do that...and you guys are complaining? Chill out fellas, we've got a quality game on its way. Lets try to enjoy it.

@kornhd It's not fanboy or not. It's design character. Everything from this game lose detail, creativeness, strength, the cool and rock style in character design. I am just wait for 4.5 point from gamespot. In my opinion, It's just like RE6 so don't hope too much for this game.
1 Like @HistoryDragonI @kornhd Now that I've played and beated the game I can say, the only DMC game, in my opinion, that is as great as this new one is the 3rd one. I had my hopes high and it was even better than I expected.
i like this.... better if its not DLC. oh well... guess i'll just have to pre-order and get this for free...
3 Like I don't understand why this game is getting so much hate, I've played the hell out of every Devil May cry game on every difficulty and this game is nowhere as bad as Devil May Cry 2. This is actually a really cool installment, DMC fans that don't like this game just have there panties in a bundle over dantes design(which isn't that bad).
why can I c the trail of the sword, it just makes is appear kiddish, what the hell are you doing Ninja Theory, u crapped Dante at least don't do this to vergil

This Vergil at least has more in-depth emotions and an actual reason to be crazy/angry instead of being the generic "My mother died. Im batma- I mean angry white-haired twin of a more badass twin-brother of someone who's already a badass."
And there are leaderboards, and unlockables too! Wow, nobody ever thought of those ever! Is that really all that is necessary to make us believe it will be a good game? From what they've displayed here it looks like he fights pretty much the same way as in DMC 3. I mean it was good, but I hope they added some new moves to Vergil since his arsenal and skill-set felt limited in DMC 3.
They got Virgil's character design right.
Too bad it's too late into development to make Dante look better.
@THE_DRUGGIE They're almost identical Vergil only has his old silver hair color. And how can anything designed as an inspiration from this guy's face (http://devilmaycry.wikia.com/wiki/Tim_Phillipps) be RIGHT.
The only worthy trailer I saw for this game....still like hell I gonna buy 2 hours DLC for 10 hours of crappy story and gameplay.

At the same time why didn't they just make a game with Vergil only? Looks more solid than the actual game.
@chad28_69 it's 8.99 PSN and 720 Microsoft points (I think) there could be a variety of reason why it's not the disc.
@Giganticguyver4 @chad28_69 Did everyone stop the video right after the gameplay footage? It says right at the end, preorder at gamestop and you get it for free. 5 bucks down, and the dlc is free. Thats fine with me, just makes it more of an incentive to buy the game day 1. Also, why does everyone think this game looks bad? I really liked the demo, and I actually have hopes for this game to have a more fleshed out story that might make some sense. The gameplay is also really smooth and fluid too

Still, as I said it could have easily been put with the main game from earlier, as it seems they have been developing it along with the main game at the same time. (After searching it seems that; Tameem guy of Ninja Theory stated on twitter that it's not on disc and that's free, but I think he meant for pre-ordering from EB and GS.)
@hellangel_boy @GameGuy642003 @chad28_69 My apologies for misunderstanding, but it's been confirmed that it's NOT on the disc by representatives at Capcom so if they were to add it in they WOULD have to stop the current production all together to do that.

And about pre-ordering, I don't live either in USA or Canada, so it's unfair to me.
