Ill just get rid of the bad things i felt about this game
-Some boss fights aren't memorable
-playing on normal is too easy.
-Autolock can be an annoyance sometimes but it isnt too bad.
-New Dante is likable when he's NOT trying to be like the old Dante. Even though i think Classic DMC oneliners were pretty cheesy this new Dante's oneliners can be awkward.
-The ending is pretty bad. It ends without a conclusion and felt incomplete as if they are going to release DLC *COUGH vergilsdownfallCOUGH*

Now for the good things
-The story has some pretty neat ideas and does a good job in explaining how the world works while introducing character's backstory. It isnt Oscar winning stuff but its entertaining and as the story progressed i actually cared about the characters rather than seeing it as a poor reason to kill things.
-The games environment is fantastic. The world of limbo constantly changes adding variety where ever you go. As the levels changes platforming is a must to progress. Some people might find this to be a bit random and tedious but i personally think it is a welcome addition since it breaks up the constant fighting

-The combat in DMC feels brutal. Each attack Dante throws shifts his momentum forward and it gives weight to each blow he delivers. The overall execution isnt difficult but the controls feel awkward at first. The variety of weapons and moves makes combos fun and creative VERY creative( you can change every weapon on the fly). Its easier to pull off than the previous DMC games since attacks don't require too much of a strict timing but this doesnt mean the game is easy. On higher difficulty levels (nephilim and up) enemies change in behavior as they are more aggressive(bosses also change in behavior) and would at times parry/block your moves not to mention the variety of enemy types that makes spamming a death sentence.

The game has a very high replay value because of the change of behavior of enemies/ bosses, secret areas to explore, extra missions to unlock and not to mention coming up with insane combos while getting your ass handed (on higher difficulty)

I had a blast playing this game and on my second run through on Son of Sparda difficulty.

For those who are planning to dismiss this game give it a shot because more than likely you'll have have blast.
