This game is one of the most polarizing games ever made. I am a big fan of the old style DMC, however I will say that this game is a good game. The gameplay is good even though it's much easier than older entries. Devil Trigger is useless though, sends all the enemies flying up into the air where it's a lot harder to attack more than one enemy. My gripe with this game is the new Dante. I am not off put by the way he looks, I just don't like his personality. Some people complain that older fans do not like the new Dante and that they're upset about it. Well, think about it a second. Do the fans not have a right to be upset? The developers took something from them they loved, said it wasn't cool enough, and changed it into something else. Imagine your favorite story, then imagine someone saying "We're going to completely redo it because it's not cool enough." I'm sure you'd be at least a little upset. Also, I hate what they did to Sparda. In the original he was a demon who fought against his own kind to protect humans. In the new one, he's a coward who ran away with his woman to hide. The bottom line is as far as gameplay this game is great but beyond that they took a fan favorite, said it wasn't cool enough, and then pandered to a completely different audience. That's what upset gamers. Not that his hair wasn't white.
