I wasn't like everyone else when I first saw DMC. I didn't care that it was a reboot, that Dantes hair was black, I was just happy we got a new DMC, (that and I knew from jump that a new story meant that definite return of Vergil ). And I have to say that I'm more that satisfied with the end result. The game looks great, going thru Limbo is awesome, and best of all, in my opinion. "New" Dante is still very much "Old" Dante at heart. What did you guys think? And did anyone who didn't like the reboot idea end up satisfied???

I was disappointed with the gameplay, which is pretty much all I cared about.

4 was garbage compare to this amazing game.

I had only 1 criteria for liking this game when it was first announced:

Is it going to be more fun then DMC2?

And it is leagues more fun, so I'm happy lol.

Gameplay felt tedious to me. Visually the game was nice but I guess I've just grown tired of button mashers. I could easily see others enjoying it however

You entitled to your opinion. I'm just really happy to not get the responses I thought I was gonna get like "the game sucks because Dantes hair is black or Vergil sounds different" lol

I'm pacing myself, so only on level 8, but really enjoying it so far.

The second level is really good - was a very nice way to weave backstory and give new abilities. And, the beginning of the third level,where Vergil's explaining their story to Dante and the grafitti on the walls illustrates it...very clever.
