Rebind Devil Trigger and Gun Special for pad (PC) ??

Hey guys, no matter how hard i'm trying to modify the config files i just can't find a solution to rebind these buttons on my pad. I use a PS2 controller, and everything works fine but this.

I mean, i just can't get used to the fact that we're forced to use a very annoying button combination for gun special and devil trigger...There GOTTA be a solution somewhere...

I read this already : http://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/DmC:_Devil_May_Cry#Modify_the_config_file but it doesn't explain how to do it for a Playstation pad.

Does someone know something that could help me ? Any help would be greatly appreciated !!

hmm this would be useful consider my failure rate of pressing those 2 button together.
Think i'm gona map it to clicking in left or right stick and put DT on one of the roll button.

Problem solved, someone answered my question. In order to rebind these buttons you have to modify the DefaultInput.ini file located in Steam\steamapps\common\DmC Devil May Cry\DevilGame\Config and change the controls to your liking there. Remember to not having doubles and edit the whole file with it (same commands appear twice in the file if you scroll down).
Then ingame you have to "reset to defaults" for the change to be effective.

good thing it got solved but why a ps2 controller? just get a ps3 controller "if you have one" and in motioninjoy you can change the buttons to whatever you want. you can make the X behave like the triangle or make the shaking of the controller is for example the X button or a combination of two buttons "a macro"
