I would say rent. But that's honestly how I feel about all of the DMC games. IMO they're all fun to play through once but that's about it. A lot of people will say this game is bad but I got the same kind of enjoyment out of it as all of the other DMC games.

Rent it and if you want to play it more afterwards, buy it.

    ^^That's a good advice.

If you were happy with the purchase of those action games you purchased I'd say buy this. If you weren't, as in you only played bayonetta once than rent DmC.

Honestly, I think this game is a buy. Difficulty is a little easier then previous titles but I fell in love with atmosphere and the music. Had the game for a week now, half way into DmD mode, if you buy the game it's kind of expected you get Super Dante. c:

    When in doubt, always rent.

To each their own. I bought this because i enjoyed 1 3 and 4 and i just love the style of gameplay. But like the other post said when in doubt rent it

I beat the game when I rented it. Turned around and bought it to work on the 2nd play through. :} Love this game.

It's called Red Box... Beats video stores by a mile as there are Red Box rental machines at just about any 7-11, convenience store or shopping center...

its not long enough to buy unless you are sure youre gonna play more than one playthrough. I rented, but if it didnt have to go back I could see myself replaying all the levels to find more stuff

    People still rent games? Wow.

You do realize GameStop has a 7 day return policy on ANY used game, right? Just buy it, try it, and take it back if you don't like it. Hell, when I was a manager there, I'd let people return games almost a month later like just about any other employee. Just beat it and take it back if you want.

Either way, renting is throwing away money.
