Gotten sick of the Rock Star Persona - How bout the Hip Hop game!
Now I could only really afford the basic $119.00 version. Would have been nice to get the Renedage edition, but only for the bonus JayZ and Eminem tracks.
This game might seem a bit tougher for some folks who are used to some of hte Guitar Hero games, but that;s only what Ive heard from friends who have played GH and tried DJH.
I love the variety of music envolved. Even though this is nothing like a real set of wheels - you feel so fullfilled when you hit the notes just right, and the scratching motif is of the chain. Such a great game. I'm hoping that there will be a huge variety of downloads to choose from in the future!!
My only real gripe of this game is, there's no real objective - other than trying to get a high score and getting new bonus tracks. Would be a much more indepth game if there was a career mode in order to play different clubs - and as u progress, be able to collect money to then buy new songs or whatever - atleast something like that.
Overall though, I love the game play. Somehow the creators managed to pull this off, and the mix selections are awesome.
One last thought of a wishlist. Would have been even more kewl if you were able to select any 2 songs u want to mix for yourself. Not sure how the programmers would be able to do this, but it would be the greatest thing if that were the case.
All in All - my score of 9 stands strong, and I suggest this to anyone who has a small interest of Dj'ng and of course if you're a hip hop fan - U'll dig it the most.
