This game is serious fun, I love the turn table mixing, and the freestyle sound affects. This game reminds me of crack, so addicting and you cannot just take one hit. From the moment I mixed my first track, I was hooked and I knew that I was in trouble, the good kind.
Normally I would never play a game like this, but as I have enjoyed nearly every rhythm game I have played, like guitar hero, and Rock Band, 1,2, and 3, I figured I should give this one a fair shake before discounting it completely. Well It has been tried, and proven that even a person who does not like DJing, or mixing can fall in love with this game. Let me give you the breakdown.
1.)Graphics- In a game like this one would think that the graphics would take a bench role, but not in this game, these graphics are a slick as greased graphite. You are mixing the tracks and watching the gorgeous clubs and dancers go crazy when you make an especially sick loop or slide. All in All, the graphics totally Rocked.
2.)Sound- Now in music and rhythm games, sound is key, because if it sucks, then the game sucks since it is all about the sound. The sound in this game is off the hook as they would say in game! It is refreshing with great artists and many special effects that all sound so great. I give the sound overall a 10.
3.) Control- Well not much to be said here, you either love using the turntable or you hate it, I happened to love scratching that record! so its hit or miss.
4.) Overall Impression- The game was well developed with a great listing of artists, I cannot compare it to its predecessor since I did not play the first but, from friends who have, they say it is a step forward not backwards. This is a game I highly Recommend buying!!

A challenging, empowering rhythm game with one of the freshest, most unique soundtracks ever in a game.
