Awesome continuation with great improvements both on and offline, but you'll need to have friends to enjoy to the max...

This game is incredible: it made me buy it on the very first gameplay video I saw on the internet (and that's hard, especially since I'm a conservative gamer and never cared much about games with different controllers) xD

The setlist of this game is shorter than the previous game (65 now against 80+ from dj hero 1) but all other aspects it's better: improved graphics and light effects gives you a nicer sensation of being in a DJ show, vocals are nicely timed and sinchronized with the song even after the rewinds, new multiplayer modes like accumulator and DJ battle are very competitive and even adds a little strategy to the players...and talking about battles, it's very cool battling yourself against big names like David Guetta, Deadmaul5, Tiesto and Qbert
The so-talked single player campaing doesn't differ from the previous method of unlocking musics...collect new starts and open new setlists/characters/decks/outfits/etc...even though the megamixes, a song setlist you play on the first time you go to a new location, always look cooler than the others setlists (excluding some battles and bonus mixes in my opinion)

Now we have talked about the good, let's go to the bad aspects
the downside of DJH2 is, like all other GuitarHero (GH) and RockBand (RB) games, you MUST have a well-sized family or some of friends to enjoy it fully, or if it's impossible, at least a good internet connection on your xbox. The mixes are cool to hear once or twice but it gets boring if you play alone so much, even if you try to FC or 5-star every mix on the game (that let me say, it's way harder this time around). Oh, and let me add here that the DLCs of DJH2 takes long to come and aren't the quality you except at first.

Online and multiplayer it's where the true fun starts on DJH2, but if you like to play alone or don't have a internet-linked xbox or either don't have a gold membership, I wouldn't recommend it since, until this review's date, only 2 games are compatible with the peripheral...and yeah, 70 bucks for a single game it's quite expensive if you have a tight budget.
