Here's the rundown:

Pros

- The graphics are colorful and vibrant. They're absolutely gorgeous.

- Plentiful, original content. There's so much to do in this game, really.

- The dialogue is pretty funny, and it's obvious that quite a lot of time was spent on it. It can be weak sometimes, but it's usually quite fun and original.

- You can save at any point in the game, even in the middle of a fight!

Neutral

- The game does not hold your hand at all. Other than an optional dungeon at the beginning (which only reveals the very basics of what you'll be needing), you have to figure out pretty much everything entirely by yourself, including where to go, what to press, how to build your character, etc. This is remarkably refreshing, but also annoying, as one can imagine.

- The game is quite hard. This is not a bad thing on its own, but given that you have only a limited number of enemies that you can fight (and once they're dead, they're dead), you will very frequently be pushed to fight things that are several levels above you to progress. It's either that or finishing off the quests that you started and trying to get the experience you need from those, which are not always the easiest to figure out; this can make you feel like you're stuck until you figure out how to further an obscure quest.

- There are slim choices in terms of appearance in the character selection. However, there are plenty of class choices and ways to build your characters to make up for this.

Cons

- A pause button would be nice. Not even bringing up the menu will pause it. Given that this is a turn-based RPG, it's not absolutely horrible to not have a pause button, but there are some cases (like when not in a fight) where it would be nice to be able to stop and think before things proceed.

- The load times can be pretty bad.

- Your character moves very slowly, which can be agonizing. I feel like a snail trying to navigate a large map.

- The encounter distance is often too high here. I can be somewhere where I can't even see enemies and all of the sudden I'm thrust into a battle. When I'm outside, I'm expecting a fight, but ambushes are very common. It makes this game overly save-friendly.

- It's too easy to do things accidentally in this game, like steal things on accident when you're just trying to move. This can get you into hairy situations quite quickly.

- Why do your characters slow to a walking pace when you click a point near instead of far away from you? I don't want to slow down just because my target is near me.

- There are very few portrait options for your character - none of which actually look like my character - but given that this game was so recently released, maybe we'll get more.

- The spells don't scale properly (they're flat numbers instead of percentages) with your level or amount of skill points in their mastery. This is extremely annoying, and automatically nerfs spellcasters as they get to higher levels.

- When Tenebrium monsters get introduced, it feels like all of your non-Tenebrium skills become nearly useless. Only melee and Tenebrium-built characters excel at that point.

Overall, I still definitely recommend this game. This is truly a Kickstarter game campaign done well. :)
