Odd that you read so little about this game. Better than most of the RPG releases in 2011/12

User Rating: 7.5 | Divinity II: The Dragon Knight Saga X360
I picked this game up after reading player reviews on Metracritic (Gamespot hasn't even reviewed it); glad I did, solid RPG.

Good:
1. The first 10 hours or so (until you take the battletower) is some of the most fun I have had playing any game....story, combat, flow, really well done.
2. Relatively large world, some open-world play.Game takes 40+ hours easily.
3. Leveling and skill upgrades allow you to customize your character like few other games out there...melle fighter, ranged attacker, magic....combat can be fun.
4. Lots of weapons/ armor to find buy to further customize your character.
5. NPC interactiveness is about average with the games out there currently.

Bad:
1. Game drags considerably after you take the battletower; it loses its focus.
2. Visually the picture just seems to be slightly out of focus...the picture quality is definitely a notch below the average game out there...you get used to it fairly quickly but its always there.
3. There are A LOT of doors/ hidden objects that you reall, really have to do a lot of searching to figure out...and the treasure found is never worth the effort.
4. For me, the ending of this game decreased the rating by probably a full point. During the middle section you have the ability to turn into a dragon...you spend about 25% of the time during that section in that form. However, during the last third you cannot turn and spend about a dozen hours or more on 2 legs battling it out with sword and bow...but at the very end it forces you into dragon form AND forces you to protect ships before they're destroyed...not easy....being a dragon wasn't even part of the damn the whole last part but they want you to fight this way to end the game....stupid, stupid, stupid!
