If you like the old school RPG genre, you won't be disappointed.

Let me start by saying that I have never played any of the games in the Divinity series. I have no frame of reference as to how good or bad the other games in the series are. I just thought this might be a nice little filler for the time between Fallout New Vegas and Dragon Age II.

What a pleasant surprise to find this great game. I am having a blast. After a real letdown from FONV, I am really enjoying this game. Why it isn't getting any press, I don't know. Come on Gamespot! At least review this game! It's great!

The Good: Unlike the new Fallout, I haven't had one crash. The fighting is a little basic, but enjoyable. The maps are huge, with lots of little places to explore. The mind reading option is a cool new feature with real rewards to be had, and using XP to pay for it makes it hard to use sometimes, but it's worth it. Lots of cool loot. Interesting story. Great music and voice acting. Good puzzles. Pretty good graphics. Flying as a dragon and spitting fireballs!!! Price.

The Bad: The story and maps are a tad linear. Not enough auto saves. Occasionally hard to understand quest needs (maybe I need to read them a little more closely). Can't look up while swimming, or dive into any water. Good or bad, you can jump off of any massive structure and suffer no injuries... ok, so not really bad, just very unrealistic.

All in all, this game rocks. I am having more fun with this, than Fallout New Vegas... seriously! I highly recommend this game. Plus, you get the old games with it. That makes this game a great play for a great price, and should keep you and I busy for many an adventure filled hour. Just don't tell my wife...
