ALL RPG fans will enjoy this epic adventure... highly addictice... lots of surprises... exceptional quality
A highly under rated game on initial release in 2009.
Sadly, the original was rushed to market by the publisher...
(a far too common problem both fans and developers are faced with)
though i encountered no game breaking bugs in the initial release...
there were performance issues that stopped many from playing.
(needless to say this also sank several reviews.. ouch.)
Thankfully the team at Larian Studios took it upon themselves to set things right.
Over the last year i watched with admiration as Larian Studios blogged their continued efforts to publish a polished game with added content
(including addon Flames of Vengeance).
Their dedication and perseverance has paid off!
Both for them and all RPG fans!
The Dragon Knight Saga is an impressive adventure!
Unique in story, exceptional in quality, and highly addictive gameplay.
The level of detail and polish are on a level far above most releases.
I have several friends who are not RPG fans that are hooked on this game!
This game rewards the explorer!
there are lots of hidden secrets...
look everywhere... leave no stone unturned!

IMPORTANT:
there is one common bug that everyone i know has experienced:
a 'blank screen' on game launch..
thankfully this is very easy to fix:
1. TOP FIX: in the game menu go to 'options' then 'graphics' uncheck "'use desktop resolution in full screen"
(you can also change this by editing the "graphicoptions.xml'as described below
2. another rare 'blank screen' issue is the game launching by default into a resolution your monitor can't utilize.
Go to C:/Users/[username]/AppData/Local/Divinity 2/Profile
you will find a file called 'graphicoptions.xml'. open with notepad and set the resolution to whatever you desire (ie 1680x1050).
save file and relaunch game.
ingame settings will say 640x480 but game will run as set in graphicoptions.
3. some have had issue with shadows...
you can turn shadows 'off'...
but i recommend setting shadow quality to 'low' for a major performance boost and no noticeable loss of game quality
