A game that finally cranked up the difficulty and subjected me to extreme torture.

This has to be the most difficult game I have ever played. This game has a good story line, some fair voice acting and a very medieval/renaissance style music that actually felt real to be there. The world was terrific to explore with its trees, caves, roads etc. It has a good variety of pubs to walk into, nice buildings to look at and loot. A brothel, which was highly amusing before the novelty wore off.

You get to choose the gender of your character and its class of thief, warrior or magician. You can also allocate youy stats, even as you level up. What's more you get to pillage any items you can find, provided that you have enough strength to carry that much weight and that people don't see you. You can be put into prison, gain good/bad reputation along the way which will affect how NPCs react to you.

Unfortunately, every enemy you encounter and killed will stay dead permanently. By the time you cleared out all the enemies on the map, there won't be anyway to level up further. Most of the enemies can become ridiculously hard to kill. You have to need spells by learning from scrolls if you're lucky to find them. The spells are actually very effective in the game and can be a lifesaver at times.

Other than that you can undergoes quests that may affect your reputation. The loot are appalling, it's actually harder to find money. Sometimes weapons you find may not be readily equipable because your not strong enough or it needs to be appraised. The weapon stores are worse for finding good weapons.

This game does have a few good points but it's still gets a mediocre because of the numerous glitches and bugs that looms about.
