Sure there are issues because of the small publishing team (one designer), but with three patches released within 2 weeks of the release and what looks to be continuing support up to the same standard, the wrinkles will all be smoothed out in one more patch.

Gameplay is astounding, Exploration is addictive, keeping you wanting to find more systems to add to your star map so you can find those ultra-rare resources, abandoned capital ships and world destroyers, new races to interact with, new colonies to found.

Battle is straightforwards and rewarding, with each destroyed enemy ship having you congratulate your own ship-building skills.

This is a must have game, and I would tell everyone who reads this to head over to the matrix forums to check out the game, and most importantly, BUY NOW.
