The more the merrier, a simple but complex game made good.

With this game it was something i was waiting for, realtime, epic in terms of size where you can mess around with almost 1400 stars, exterminate, conquer, expand, or be the "captain of the ship" sure this last one is no big deal but the automation system can be an ally.

Anyhow... I do play with 700 stars and with 5 to 11 empires to go against. The game play can go from simple to pretty nasty if every empire want a piece of you and they send fleets of ships against you in which can be overwhelming depending on how much you're prepared.

The graphics are in 2D, almost well done, just that some ships have better definition than others. Same as planets, who knows, maybe because of the rushed art for the beta? still this are fixable.

Music and sound are quite decent.

Also adding to the game play and graphics, sure this are quite 2D or retro but it does help in a way and that is to the development, for some unknown reason graphics make a gameplay shorter and boring even you have a nasty eye candy to deal with.

OVerall, for some might like it and for some might not.
