Charaters???

Will this have Zack Fair or Genesis as these 2 are my most favourite charaters in the series

I'm sure they won't, theyre only adding a few more cahacters, and they've already added Tifa so probably not.

Its too early to tell atm, the most recent add in is Vaan from 12. So the list so far is

Kain (FF4)
Tifa (FF7)
Vaan (FF12)
Lightning (FF13)

We still have more to go tho, no FF13 villain has been announced yet so its too early to answer this properly. But considering they added a FF7 character they might throw in another villain from 7 but it could be from another FF.

they have stated that there will be no spin-off characters.

Unfortunately this means no Genesis for sure. And likely no Zack, as he would likely be more or less a alternate costume for cloud.

yea dissidia mainly focuses on main storylines and on characters that are pivotal in that game with enough background. Zack in the original ff7 was important but not given enough story for his inclusion. Crisis core elaborated but as tenderkindwar3 said spin offs rnt being included.sadly that is also why we'll never see vincent. in the main game u could go through the whole thng witout him so his importance in 7 in non existent
