Deny it all you want: Disney knew what it was doing with its video games in the NES era.

User Rating: 6 | Disney's Darkwing Duck NES
Storyline: 6/10
Not a whole lot is stated as far as the game's storyline, but there are many familiar faces as far as its relation to the TV show. Your main objective, of course, is to take down Steelbeak and all his cronies.

Game play: 7/10
Despite its difficulty in later levels, *coughMoliartycough* it's a solid platformer. It can sometimes get frustrating with limited ammo.

Multi-player/Play-back: 5/10
With the frustrating levels, you'll wait a while to come back to it after you beat it once.

Secrets/Unlockables: 4/10 (Possible Spoilers)
Secrets: N/A
Unlockables: The only ulockable content is… MORE, HARDER, FRUSTRATING LEVELS!

Graphics: 7/10
I have nothing to declare but these coon skin caps. Don't ask.

Sound: 6/10
Not any memorable tracks like the Mega Man series or even the Mario series. Just your basic, run-o-the-mill 8-bit stuff.

Cons:
As if I haven't said the word enough: FRUSTRATING. Not as bad as NES games get, but still frustrating.

Total: 6/10

My advice: If you're patient and watched the masked mallard as a kid, or if you just like a challenge, buy it.
